Jadestar layed on the EchoRock and gently closed her eyes. She almost fell alseep, but a framiliar stench entered her nose. Oh no! Is it really? she thought. She sat up and opened her eyes. The fowl sent grew stronger. Jadestar heard worried murmurs from her clan. Suddenly, the brambles surrounding the camp rustled and a group of creatures with ragged ginger pelts flooded into the clearing. They snarled at the cats, showing their sharp teeth.
"Foxes! EchoClan, attack!!!" Jadestar yowled, leaping down into battle.

Jadestar sees a fox snarling at Scarpaw. Scarpaw looks worried and trys to be brave, but she is scarred because she remembers what it was like fighting a badger when she was younger, and know foxes can be just as nasty. The badger didn't just scar her tsail, it scared her heart, her mind. Terror covered her face, which Jadestar had never seen before, she was always so brave when fighting a cat. The fox was about to leap on the apprentice, so Jadestar sprang forward from behind and leapt on top of it's back. Jadestar hissed at the fox and it leapt upward. It's neck colided with her open mouth and without thinking, she bit down and the fox fell to the ground, dead. She turned to Scarpaw and meowed, "You are brave and an excelent fighter! When fighting a badger or fox, act as though they are simply a cat, and can be defeated just as easy. Remember, the past is the past, Scarpaw. Look forward to the future." The apprentice nodded thankfull and ran off, intending to fight another fox, this time more bravely. Jadestar continued to fight off other foxes. There were many of them and they all looked very hungry and as though they have been traveling for a while. She assumed they wanted to take over her territory and eat all there prey. "Never," Jadestar vowed.

Her fur fluffing up in horror, Flowerwish charged into battle. A fox leaped toward her and picked her up by her scruff. Then, it shook her and shook her and shook her. She felt as though it was shaking her bones out of her body. With a shaky screech of rage, she flailed a paw out and felt it rip through flesh. Grunting with satisfaction, she managed to wriggle out of it's grip, slashing blow after blow to it's eyes, ears, nose, face, everything.

Icefrost pounces on a fox, trying to get a grip on it's thick pelt. She slips off, but manages to land a blow on it's flank as she watches in fear as the fox turns and charges for her.

Nightpaw stares at the crowd of foxes, ginger fur everywhere around him. He yowls and tries to land a blow on one of them, misses, and gets pounced on by a young fox, growling near his neck.

ReplyDelete* Rosepaw slashes at a foxes muzel driving it back away from the nursery, when the fox runs away another hits her over, she rolls away just in time, she gets up and lures the fox away, not looking where she was going she runs into the fox holding Nightpaw down *

Nightpaw sprang up, nodding to Rosepaw in thanks. He ducks under the fox, and rakes its belly, sliding out just in time.
